Even substantial work benefits from editing. Long sentences, repeated conclusions, inconsistent terms and disconnected paragraphs impede reading. We examine whole chapters and individual sentences to preserve the research content and improve the sequence.
We start by assessing the structure. We check whether content matches section titles, methods are adequately explained and results address the objectives. We then refine wording, remove repeated meaning and improve transitions. Replacing words with synonyms is insufficient, so paragraph structure is revised where necessary.
Numbers, negations, notation, references and the author’s degree of certainty are preserved. Contradictions are referred for discussion. For dissertations, we also check consistency between tables, text, the concluding discussion and conclusions.
You can order editing of a whole work or one section. If an author’s writing sample is available, we follow its rhythm, terminology and usual expression. We deliver an editable file; tracked changes and a separate question list are agreed in advance.
